Make tea bag cookies

Having a tea party? Or even just a few girls around for tea or coffee? Whip up these quick tea bag cookies for something extra special.

I love baking and I love making cookies, but I don’t always have time to decorate cookies and cakes with fancy icing techniques. But these cookies are really quick to decorate.

Just use your favourite shortbread or other cookie recipe, roll out the dough and cut into rectangles. Then fold over the top corners. Cut out a small hole in the top of the cookie as well.

Bake as per normal then, when cooled, dip in melted chocolate. It’s as easy as that.

Attach kitchen twine so that it looks like a real tea bag.
