Strawberry charlottesWhat a beautiful way to decorate a small cake or muffin. The recipe is for angel food cake, which uses a whopping 18 egg whites, but you could use any sponge recipe for a cheaper option (unless you have your own supply of eggs). The cake is filled with a vanilla pastry cream and topped with strawberry ‘flowers’.
